Already Provided

There are so many passages in the Bible that tell of God's provision. Off the top of my head I can think of God providing Abraham with a sacrificial ram in place of he son Isaac. I also recount the numerous times God provided for the Israelites as He brought them out of Egypt into the promised land. The greatest provision of all was when God gave us His son Jesus so we may know Him better and receive forgiveness of sins and everlasting life with Him. When I study the Word of God I cannot help but see God as a provider, it's His nature. 

This past week, while meeting with a great friend and mentor, I was shown a Biblical relation that I had previous overlooked, God made provision for man even before He created Him. Looking at the way God created the Earth tells of His purposeful provision. He made man last because He wanted everything else to be established for Him first. The sun was set in the sky for heat and light. The land and the waters separated and controlled. Plants, animals, fruits, and vegetables made for man to eat. If God made man at any point before He did man would have had many challenges just trying to survive. 

The concept of God already providing for humankind even before they were created may seem common place or simple, but it proved to be such a revelation to me as I heard it expressed this way. God knew what Adam and Eve needed and created and established it for them even before He crated them. Wow! If that does not impress you I do not know what will. God is an excellent provider. 

I claim this truth over my life now as I'm preparing to move to the Philippines in 5 short weeks. God has already provided for my living and ministering in the Philippines, even before He created me for this purpose. I am assured that God cares for me and responds favorably to my every need. Praise Him!
